I recently had my first skin check at the SCAR center with Alyssa Flanders, PA, and I was really impressed! Alyssa made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment and really took the time to listen to my concerns about my skin. She also gave me some great advice on what signs to look out for with moles and scabs moving forward. On top of that, she recommended some sunscreen alternatives that won’t irritate the eyes, which was super helpful. She was thorough in her examination from head to toe, but it never felt uncomfortable. Highly recommend her if you’re considering a skin screening!
She was so nice and easy to talk to. Reassuring and explained exactly what she was going to do. I had never been for a full cancer body check before and I will now go every 6 months. You are in good hands with Alyssa. I also liked her assistant.
Doctor Madorsky is very nice. And his assistants and staffs are nice too. The clinic is high-quality. Their are very professional. I am highly recommended SCARS Center of Newport Beach.
I like Alisa very much….she is high energy and passionate. Only recommendation is to slow down and really listen to the patient.

I feel that divine intervention led us to Dr Goodman. I had basal cell carcinoma on the end of my nostril on my nose. Another dermatologist found it a little over a year ago and said that it was pretty deep so I went to a plastic surgeon that was supposed to have been trained with doing MOHS surgery. He did my surgery and did a craft on the end of my nostril. Come to find out he does not do MOHS. He took a graft from in front of my ear and put it on the end of my nostril. I now cannot breathe out of the right side of my nostril. In the meantime when I went for my your check up with the other dermatologist he wanted to check a spot on my face next to my nostril which was there before. I asked him about it in the past and he said it’s nothing don’t worry about it. He checked it because of the spot on my nose and come to find out it’s basal cell as well. I didn’t want to go back with him and I definitely didn’t want to go to the surgeon who did my graft. I did a lot of praying and was led to Dr Goodman. He immediately noticed that there was no cartilage to support the end of my nostril making it difficult to breathe. I am excited to have it fixed finally. And I am so grateful for him. His office was professional he was professional and I feel like I am in the best hands ever. What a blessing that I was led to him. Now I’ll finally be able to breathe out of that side of my nose.

Dr. Goodman is a great doctor. Great !!!! Our family dermatologist for 40 plus years. As great of a doctor as he is , he’s even a better human.
Alyssa is excellent …she is thoughtful, caring, considerate in dealing with patients. she’s very kind, very understanding, she has a very happy disposition and she’s technically excellent. She’s smart, thorough, detailed and she’s very careful doing the procedures. She has learned from Dr Miller and has an excellent knowledge base. I’m so glad you have her at your practice
