About Dr. Merrick
Merrick A. Brodsky, MD, FAAD, FACMS, FASDS is a double board-certified and dual fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon, who specializes in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery, dermatologic oncology, facial cosmetic surgery, and cosmetic dermatologic and laser surgery. His unique training integrates skin cancer and reconstructive surgery with advanced aesthetic techniques to deliver comprehensive, next-level results.
Dr. Brodsky enjoys performing Mohs micrographic surgery and the associated facial reconstructive surgery, especially for challenging sites including eyelids, nose, ears and lips. He has a particular expertise in periocular rejuvenation, as well as brow lifts, blepharoplasty, lip lifts, face and neck lifts, facial fat transfer, laser surgery, scar revision, and regenerative medicine, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), and nanofat transfer.
Dr. Brodsky is a Southern California native and completed both undergraduate and medical school at University of California Irvine. During his time at UCI, he excelled both academically and athletically, earning honors as a Collegiate All-American Sevens Rugby player and being inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of Colorado before completing two highly esteemed surgical fellowships. First in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology, and facial reconstructive surgery at The Ohio State University followed by a second fellowship in facial cosmetic surgery, advanced facial reconstruction, cosmetic dermatologic and laser surgery and regenerative medicine techniques at the Clinic 5C under Dr. Cameron Chesnut.
Dr. Brodsky is a recognized speaker at national medical conferences and has made significant contributions to medical literature through his research and publications in medical journals and textbooks.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Brodsky enjoys mountain biking, skiing, surfing, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
